In Perennia’s instrumentation lab, technicians can perform extractions of phytonutrients and other compounds using standard methods or by use of Supercritical CO2/Subcritical Water clean extraction technology.  We can determine nutrient profiles in food and other agricultural products using HPLC, GCMS, and spectrophotometric methods. We can also determine levels of antioxidants, vitamins, essential oil compounds or other nutrients in novel products, and determine shelf stability of compounds in the product pre- and post-processing.
